President's message :

Dear Colleagues, 
 
The American Venous Forum is the focal point for progress in venous science.  Modern venous surgery had its origins under its roof.  Modern venous diagnostics were perfected by its members. Modern classification of venous disease was formulated under its direction.  Minimally invasive techniques to address venous disease continue to evolve under its auspices.  Scientific analysis has been the key underpinning for these advances.  The AVF mission, "To promote venous health through innovative research, education and technology" is very much a living statement.  On behalf of AVF, I invite all professionals interested in the multifaceted aspects of venous disease to attend its annual meetings, participate in its activities and contribute to the progress of venous science.
